– May through August)n n Summary of Job Description: Collaborate with the Chief People Officer and the HR Team to communicate policies and procedures.

The Senior HR Generalist assist with fostering a positive attitude toward our cultural environment and organizational objectivesn n Job Requirements: n Principle Duties: n Create procedure manuals for HR and Benefit processes Serve as backup to the HR Generalist on recruitment, pre-employment onboarding, background screenings, fingerprints, MVRs, drug screen results, and adverse action letters.

Assist with creating and disseminate offer/promotion letters to employees Assist with verifications of employment (VOE) request Assist Chief People Officer with EEO-1 and Vets 100 filings Manage Independent Contractor background screening & policy acknowledgements Manage and maintain personnel files for active and terminated employees Act as a source of information to supervision and staff regarding HR activities/initiatives (i.e.

employee benefits, Agency policies, performance management, training and development, etc.) Prepare and disburse all separation documents Manage and maintain talent management process (P4P) and the Professional Development Program (PDP) training calendar Manage HR section on the intranet Collaborate with HR team on staff recognition & reward programs Serve as a liaison between management and staff by coordinating trainings and HR related activities/events Active member of the Employee Appreciation Committee (EAC) Assist Chief People Officer with recording and maintaining all Worker Compensation documents Record and maintain all OSHA related injury and incident reports in Dayforce HCM system Assist Chief People Officer with management of Leave of Absences process (i.e.

notifications, approvals, return to work, intermittent leaves) Assist Chief People Officer with safety and training initiatives Collaborate with the Chief People Office on research and identifying appropriate training for professional development for staff Manage Professional Development Program registrations and surveys Assist with presentations for HR training, processes, and procedures Manage and assign all required and optional training to include; PDP, Pryor Solutions, Zenith on-line mandatory training, PAT, and Emory CEC Supervise E-Verify process; System Administrator Participate in all areas of seasonal staff hiring and terminations Serve as back up to HR Generalist and Payroll Administrator Assist with various projects and other duties as needed Benefits Duties: n Responsible for benefit orientation with new full-time and ACA eligible employees Enter and terminate participants in 403(b) plan Process all benefit vendor invoices in MIP Manage open enrollments, benefit implementation, benefit meetings, and insurance documentation for staff Manage and update HCM workflows for benefit enrollments (i.e.

new hires, status changes, open enrollment) Manage and maintain life insurance enrollment via third party website Responsible for ACA system set-up and maintenance Manage ACA compliance by running monthly look back reports to identify staff eligibility Provide all plan administrators with benefit enrollments and/or changes Process all benefit information and deductions in HCM system Responsible for compliance with initial and annual benefit notifications Submit quarterly reports to the SSNVS to verify SSNs in the HCM system Responsible for updating and posting benefit Notices and Disclosures Verify accuracy of month insurance benefit statements Education/Experience: n Bachelor’s degree Proficient computer skills with Windows based software and specific software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Access) Experience in Human Resources and Payroll Other skills: n Ability to prioritize and multitask Must be detailed and proactive Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to plan and prioritize work, and to advise and work effectively with others Excellent written and verbal skills Exercises good judgment Ability to communicate effectively with members and staff Strong work ethics and is able to manages confidentiality issues professionally Notary Public; preferred
